Chalk up another 3 miles.
Everyone said hi today. A woman, I was passing on her left, spit to her left at almost the same moment. It missed. She put up her hand in apology. I put up mine and said “it’s okay.
Another man gave me a salute, but more akin to a “Hey-yo!” than a military acknowledgement.
I felt good, but not strong. I listened to Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones, another suggestion from Murakami. It is really a great album. I had a friend who was insanely into the Rolling Stones, and I was shocked he didn’t force me to buy this album. I had Exile on Main Street, which was great, but this one is just as good (if not better).
My left calf needs a serious massage, but I don’t have the time. I am in between rehearsing for Romeo & Juliet, and rehearsing my solo show Made You Ugly. Which I will present at The Kennedy Center Page2Stage Festival. It certainly needs another month of rehearsal, but I need to remember that this is only a reading. Hence page to stage. If this were the Stage to Page Festival… well, we’d probably all be at computers.
