And how sure do you think you are telling him it’s what’s best? And how sure do you think you are telling him what to think? The goal of us is to let them fend for themselves. Give them the tools to fend for themselves. And how sure are you? Does he need to know how to hate? How to be mean? What happened to you, that you can’t fend for yourself? And really, who is bad? Me, her, him, you? And how far will he bend, being pulled two ways in different directions. You paint it black? I paint it black, too. We both pay other people for more paint, more pictures, more crayons, more ink. Lots, and lots of ink. And how sure are you this won’t leave a permanent blot? A permanent blot on our pure white canvas. And how sure can you be? How sure, all the time, can you be? What about your life? A mistake? Or, two? We all make them and laugh at ourselves.
How ’bout you?
