I cut slices of fresh oranges during my morning set-up {for drinks, like the Ramos Gin Fizz, Screwdriver, French 75, Pimm’s Royale). I put out five small glasses. I cut the oranges in half and each half into 5 or 6 slices. Then I put those 2 halves in separate glasses. Then I take another orange, do the same thing and put those slices on top of the ones I just cut. That is the only flesh-on-flesh contact those oranges ever get. Not just bumping into one another in a box, but their innards touching.
I shared that with a customer the other day and she left me five on twenty.
